Every October, artists around the world dive into a pool of ink and imagination — one drawing at a time.
The rules are simple.
One Post every day of October on Instagram with #Inktober
This is this year's prompt list.

The prompt list was expansive.
I had a rush of ideas when I saw this.
The structure was helpful.
Sharing a few of my favourite drawings from #Inktober2025

This was an opportunity to draw one of my favorite creatures, the Octopus. It's known that octopus release ink as a defense mechanism to create an illusion for its predators. I tried the camel special water proof drawing ink for the first time. I really liked the fractals it created.

I took the opportunity to draw the primordial dark Goddess of Hindu Mythology, Ma Kali🖤. She embodies rage, and an urge to burn and destroy everything. 💀
According to legend, she had to fight a demon, Raktabija. Every time she cut off his head, multiple clones would emerge from his blood. Therefore the only way to kill him was to drink his blood.

I've always been fascinated with ancient Egypt. The pyramids, hieroglyphics, their myths and legends which take us way back in time. This prompt, I drew a ragged Mummy. The unique ritualistic way of dealing with the dead.

According to Greek mythos, Zeus ⚡ gave the first woman, Pandora, a box to keep. He strictly told her never to open it. However, curiosity crept in, and she opened the box. Unleashing all the evils in the world. 👻👹😈
Hatred, jealousy, anger and disease. The world was never the same again. Humanity's biggest blunder.

This drawing is inspired by the Mayan Calendar. I was just a young girl, when the Doomsday Conspiracy in 2012 was all over the television channel. Digging deeper into the legend, it made me contemplate the vastness of time🌀 and the nature of the cosmos. ✨

We call them Hell Riders. 🔥Those who ride to seek a thrill. 🌀
In between life and death, the thrill hits. 🖤
The Roading Rowdy Riders. 💀

This year, the Nepal Revolution was quite a spectacle. To see so many young people take charge to kick out a corrupt government was inspiring. This drawing is that moment when the parliament is in flames and the helicopter is escaping with the ministers.

This illustration of a meditating skeleton is a reminder that life and death are a spectrum, as you are connected to the eternal flame.🔥 Time is the only illusion. ✨

"I found myself feeling rush of playful excitement. Coming from an advertising background, tired of boring non-creative - creative briefs.
I felt free, where it's not about perfection but expression."
