On 31st August 2025, I stepped into something I’ve dreamed of for a long time — my first-ever art showcase. It took place at the Creator’s Shala Art Pop-Up in the peaceful, rustic setting of Luna Verde, Mandrem — a space where creativity unfolded slowly throughout the day.

A Day of Creativity
The setup was simple and minimalistic, but the energy was rich. Artists came together to share their expressions in different forms — from macramé and jewelry to original artworks displayed across the cozy rustic café.A community of creators making space for one another.
For my part, I displayed a collection of canvases, sketchbooks, and postcard prints. Each piece carried its own story, and it was heartwarming to see how people engaged with them. Children especially, were drawn to my art — their curiosity and unfiltered joy reminded me why I create in the first place.
The conversations I had that day felt just as important as the art itself. These exchanges sparked a sense of genuine connection — a reminder that we were sharing an experience together. In a time of endless scrolling where a ‘like’ button can feel robotic, this felt human and warm. Some even told me my work carries a lot of character — something personal and alive within it.

From Brushes to Beats
As the day transitioned into the evening, the vibe shifted into music. There were soulful performances by Srikant and Hemant, and I, aka Queen Cobra closed the event, weaving an organic house DJ set. Moving from sketchbooks and colours to rhythms and beats felt natural — both expressions feeding into each other.
The Heart of It
What made this day unforgettable was not just showcasing my work, but connecting — with children, with fellow artists, with strangers who became friends. We celebrated creativity not as a competition, but as a shared language.
This first showcase reminded me that art lives in interaction — in the stories people share back, in the spark of recognition, in the community that forms around it.
And this is just the beginning. 💜
